The woods was place Ruby really loved, it wasn't always quiet since The Merry Men still had their camp out there, and Toothless was living by the well. But Ruby loved it out there, especially at night during wolves time, were she could just run and run and run, without a care in the world. This time she was especially happy to be out running again, since the harpy attack she'd had to heal properly before she could transform again. But now she could, and she could run without any pain in her side. She loved it, she had always loved it, but now that it had been a while since the last run, it felt so much better!
The feeling of blood pumping through her veins as she ran, was amazing. She just couldn't stop running, not until she reached the edge of the woods. There she sat down and panted quickly, almost like a dog. She found it weird how much she acted like a dog when in her wolf form, not that she didn't like dogs, but after having been forced to be a guard dog to the witch of Dunbroch against her will, it was a bit disturbing too. So she tried not to think about, and at least she was way bigger than a dog, so maybe others wouldn't make the mistake of thinking she was one.
She sat there in among the trees looking out over the town, wondering what Victor might be doing in that moment. She hoped he wasn't still at the hospital, he worked too hard sometimes, and she hoped that he wasn't doing that tonight. Not when she was out having fun. She had thought about asking him to go for a walk with her that night, but she was still wondering what he really thought of her werewolf side. But she was too nervous to ask him about it.
